PEMANFAATAN KECERDASAN BUATAN (AI) DALAM MENINGKATKAN PERAN PEER EDUCATOR HIV/AIDS PADA LOKUS PEKERJA SEKS

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) memberikan peluang untuk memperkuat peran peer educator HIV/AIDS dalam menjangkau kelompok berisiko, khususnya pekerja seks. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan HIV/AIDS dan keterampilan peer educator dalam membuat media edukasi digital berbasis AI. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, perumusan solusi, dan pelatihan yang dilaksanakan melalui ceramah singkat, praktik langsung, serta diskusi interaktif. Program ini dilaksanakan pada 2 Agustus 2025 di Yayasan Akbar dengan melibatkan 12 peer educator dan difasilitasi oleh ahli kesehatan serta praktisi teknologi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan HIV/AIDS sebesar 22% dan peningkatan keterampilan pembuatan media edukasi berbasis AI sebesar 45%. Luaran kegiatan berupa poster, video edukasi singkat, dan konten media sosial siap pakai yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam kegiatan penyuluhan. Implikasi kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya peer educator yang lebih kreatif, percaya diri, dan mampu memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk memperluas jangkauan pesan edukasi, sehingga mendukung peningkatan efektivitas program pencegahan HIV/AIDS di masyarakat.
