SCREENING FOR PLAGIARISM

This journal have a policy of screening for plagiarism. We use Anti-Plagiarism Software "Turnitin" and Plagiarism Checker to check the authenticity article.

The Editorial Team of the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable and has therefore established the following policy stating special action (penalties) if plagiarism is identified in articles submitted to the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research.

Definition:

Plagiarism is an act intentionally or unintentionally to get or obtain credit or value for a scientific work, by quoting part or all of a scientific work and/or the work of another person which is recognized as a scientific work, without mentioning the source properly and adequately.

For that, then:

Articles must be original, unpublished, and not awaiting publication elsewhere. Material taken orally from other sources needs to be clearly identified so that it differs from the original text.

Plagiarism will be checked with the Turnitin and if plagiarism is indicated, the Editor-in-Chief or editor asks the author to re-draft the article and will approve action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:

1. Plagiarized a few short sentences from another article without citing the source. Action: Write warnings and requests to change text and quotes properly.
2. Plagiarized most of the other articles without proper citation and did not cite the source. Action: Articles submitted are rejected for publication in the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research, and the author may be subject to sanctions because they are not allowed to be published in the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research.

All authors are responsible for the articles they own because they belong to them all. If an article is classified as plagiarism after being checked with the Turnitin application, all authors will be subject to the same action.

If the author is proven to have sent the manuscript to the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research at the same time as sending it to another journal, and this overlap is found during the review process or after publication, then the action is in accordance with point 2 above. For this journal, the plagiarism limit determined after checking with the Turnitin application is 25%.

If plagiarism falls outside the rules above, the editorial team of the Journal of Multidiscipline and Collaboration Research has the right to take action according to the editorial team's policy.
