Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPAS Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD

This classroom action research aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model type STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) in grade V students of SDN 196/II Taman Agung. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 23 students. Data were collected through teacher activity observation, student activity observation, and learning achievement tests. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively to examine improvements in both the learning process and outcomes. The results indicate significant improvements. Teacher activity increased from an average of 85.29% in cycle I to 97.06% in cycle II, both categorized as very good. Student activity increased from 70% in cycle I (good category) to 85% in cycle II (very good category). Student learning mastery improved from 65% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II. Therefore, the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model type STAD is proven effective in enhancing teacher performance, student engagement, and IPAS learning outcomes in grade V students.
