Peningkatan Proses dan Hasil Belajar IPAS dengan Menggunakan Model Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw

This study aims to improve the learning process and outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 21 sixth-grade students at SDIT Andalusia in the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, consisting of 11 female students and 10 male students. Research data were collected through teacher performance observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods by calculating the percentage of learning process and outcome completion. The results showed improvement in every aspect observed. Teacher performance increased from 86% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II, which is categorized as very good. Student activity also increased from 67% in cycle I (categorized as poor) to 86% in cycle II (categorized as very good). Student learning outcomes showed a significant increase, from 29% before the intervention to 67% in cycle I (sufficient category) and reaching 90% in cycle II (excellent category). Thus, the application of the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model has proven to be effective in improving the learning process and outcomes of IPAS in the sixth grade at SDIT Andalusia.
