Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning process and outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) through the application of the Quantum Learning model. The research subjects were 13 fifth-grade students at SDN 156/II Suka Jaya, Bungo Regency, in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, consisting of 6 male students and 7 female students. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research instruments used included educator performance observation sheets, student activity observation sheets, and learning outcome tests at the end of each cycle. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively by calculating the percentage of student achievement and learning completeness. The results showed a significant improvement in every aspect. Educator performance increased from an average of 84.08% (good category) in cycle I to 96% (very good category) in cycle II. Student activity increased from an average of 61.54% (fairly active) in cycle I to 80.76% (active) in cycle II. Student learning outcomes also improved, with classical mastery increasing from 62% in cycle I to 85% in cycle II, or an increase of 23%. This improvement proves that the application of the Quantum Learning model can create a more interactive, enjoyable, and meaningful learning atmosphere, thereby positively impacting the IPAS learning process and outcomes. Thus, Quantum Learning can be used as an effective alternative innovative learning model to improve the quality of IPAS learning in elementary schools.
