Peningkatan Proses dan Hasil Belajar Matematika Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Make A Match dengan Media Kartu Bilangan

This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning processes and outcomes through the application of the Make a Match learning model using number cards in grade III of SDN 124/II Lubuk Mayan. This study is classroom action research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 22 third-grade students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Research data were collected through teacher and student observation sheets and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was performed descriptively and quantitatively using average calculations and learning completeness percentages. The results showed a significant improvement in the learning process and outcomes of students. The percentage of teacher performance achievement increased from an average of 76.5% in cycle I to 86% in cycle II. Student activity also increased from an average of 52% in cycle I to 78.5% in cycle II. Meanwhile, students' cognitive learning outcomes increased from 11 students (50%) who achieved the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP) in cycle I to 17 students (77%) in cycle II. Thus, the application of the Make a Match learning model with number card media proved to be effective in improving students' mathematics learning processes and outcomes. This model can be used as an alternative learning strategy that is enjoyable, interactive, and able to motivate students to be more active in learning.
