Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Takalintar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Pada Materi Perkalian Melalui Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning

This study aims to determine the effect of using Takalintar media on student learning outcomes in multiplication through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in grade IV of SDN 197 Pulau Pekan. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a One group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 24 fourth-grade students consisting of 12 male students and 12 female students. The research instrument was a validated learning outcome test (pretest and posttest). Data analysis was performed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, paired sample t-tests, and N-Gain calculations to see the effectiveness of learning outcome improvement. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after implementing problem-based learning using Takalintar media. The average posttest score was higher than the pretest score, with the t-test results showing tcount>ttable at a significance level of 0.05. The N-Gain calculation obtained a moderate to high category, which means that the use of Takalintar media through the PBL model is effective in improving students' understanding of multiplication material. In addition, the application of this model also had a positive impact on student activity, motivation, and collaborative skills during the learning process. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Takalintar media through the application of Problem Based Learning had a positive and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in multiplication. The implications of this study indicate that innovative learning media combined with problem-based learning models can be used as an alternative for teachers in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools.
