Peningkatan Proses dan Hasil Belajar IPAS Menggunakan Model Index Card Match

This study was motivated by the low learning process and outcomes of students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). Students tend to be passive, and their learning outcomes do not meet the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKTP). Therefore, this study aims to improve the IPAS learning process and outcomes through the application of the Index Card Match (ICM) learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 22 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 32/II Muara Bungo, consisting of 10 boys and 12 girls. The research instruments included observation sheets for teacher activities, observation sheets for student activities, and learning outcome tests. The data were analyzed descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively. The results showed a significant improvement in both the learning process and outcomes. Teacher performance increased from 78.5% in the first meeting of cycle I to 92.9% in the second meeting of cycle II. Student learning activities also increased from 50.0% in the first meeting of cycle I to 90.9% in the second meeting of cycle II. In terms of learning outcomes, the percentage of mastery increased from 72.7% in cycle I to 90.9% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Index Card Match learning model can improve the learning process and outcomes of students' IPAS.
