Upaya Meningkatkan Proses dan Hasil Belajar Bahasa Indonesia Menggunakan Model Quantum Teaching

Indonesian language learning in elementary schools often faces obstacles in the form of low active participation of students and learning outcomes that have not reached the minimum standard of mastery. This condition indicates the need for learning innovations that can create a fun, interactive, and meaningful learning atmosphere. This study aims to improve the process and outcomes of Indonesian language learning through the application of the Quantum Teaching model to fourth-grade students at SD 32/II Muara Bungo. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 17 students, consisting of 8 boys and 9 girls. Data were collected through observation of teacher and student activities, as well as learning outcome tests. Data analysis was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods by calculating the percentage of process achievement and learning outcome mastery. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Quantum Teaching model can improve the quality of the learning process, both in terms of teacher activity and student engagement. In cycle I, the implementation of learning reached a good category with a percentage of 75%, while in cycle II it increased to 89% with a very good category. Similarly, the average student learning outcome score increased from 72.94 in cycle I with a classical mastery of 70.59% to 83.53 in cycle II with a classical mastery of 88.24%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the Quantum Teaching model proved to be effective in improving the learning process and outcomes of Indonesian language for fourth-grade students at SD 32/II Muara Bungo. The results of this study recommend the use of the Quantum Teaching model as an innovative alternative in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.
