Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of using interactive learning media based on Google Sites on elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. The background of this study is based on the problem of low mathematics learning outcomes experienced by students due to conventional learning methods that do not fully utilize digital technology. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 89/II Lubuk Niur with 17 fourth-grade students as research subjects during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research instrument consisted of a validated multiple-choice achievement test. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests (Independent Sample T-Test), and N-Gain calculations to determine the effectiveness of learning outcomes improvement. The research results showed a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the interactive learning medium Google Sites and those following conventional learning. The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental group showed a higher increase compared to the control group. The N-Gain calculation shows that the use of Google Sites media is in the moderate to high category, which means it is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Google Sites-based interactive learning media has a positive effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes. This study recommends that teachers utilize digital platforms such as Google Sites as an alternative learning medium that is interactive, flexible, and capable of increasing student motivation and learning outcomes.
