ANALISIS POTENSI PEMANFAATAN KAWASAN KONSEVASI LUTUNG JAWA DI KAMPUNG MUARA BENDERA KECAMATAN MUARAGEMBONG KABUPATEN BEKASI SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR

Abstract

The decline in the Javan Langur (Trachypithecus auratus) population and habitat degradation in Muara Bendera Village demand education-based conservation efforts. This study uses a Mixed Methods approach with a Sequential Exploratory design to analyze the area's potential as a geography learning resource. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model and the calculation of IFAS and EFAS matrices in SWOT analysis. The analysis places the area's development strategy in Quadrant I (Aggressive) with coordinates (+16, +32). This indicates the area has excellent strengths and opportunities for maximal development. Students' responses to contextual field learning also proved very positive and facilitated the comprehension of environmental materials. These findings confirm that the Muara Bendera ecosystem has high potential as a natural laboratory in line with the Merdeka Curriculum, while supporting the local economy and wildlife preservation.
