PENGARUH MEDIA PAPAN PAKU (GEOBOARD) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS 3 SDN PERWIRA IV KOTA BEKASI

This study aims to determine the effect of using a geoboard on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Perwira IV, Bekasi City. This study was motivated by the low student engagement in mathematics learning, which resulted in suboptimal learning outcomes. This condition is caused by the use of learning media that is not yet in accordance with the developmental characteristics of elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 66 students, divided into an experimental class and a control class. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Data analysis was carried out using the Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that the average post-test score of the experimental class was 84, an increase from the pre-test score of 71, while the control class obtained an average post-test score of 76 from a pre-test score of 66.5. The results of the hypothesis test showed a Sig. value. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05, thus it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the use of the nail board media on the mathematics learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Perwira IV Bekasi City. Thus, the nail board media (Geoboard) has been proven to have a positive and significant impact on improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Perwira IV Bekasi in Mathematics.
