Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes in science and science subjects for class IV students at SDN Rancamulya, North Sumedang District, Sumedang Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. This is because science learning is less than optimal, thus affecting student learning outcomes. The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on science learning outcomes on Indonesian Cultural Wealth material. This type of research is quantitative research using the Pre-Experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was all 28 grade IV students at SDN Rancamulya using a total sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this research is a test technique. Meanwhile, the research instrument is in the form of pretest and posttest questions with 10 Multiple Choice questions. The data analysis techniques used are the Liliefors normality test and the t test. Based on the results of data analysis, tcount = 10.77 ? ttable = 1.771, which means tcount is greater than ttable and is outside the acceptance of H0, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model on the science and science learning outcomes of Indonesian Cultural Wealth material for class IV students at SDN Rancamulya, North Sumedang Regency, Sumedang Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year.
